SPECTER IMPROV

One of Boston’s hottest improv troupes comes to Vermont for one exciting night of unscripted, unpredictable comedy. Specter regularly performs on Thursday nights as part of the “Harold Night: Top Shelf” series at ImprovBoston. Made up of some of the sharpest minds in the Boston comedy scene, Specter has performed at the Del Close Marathon and the Boston Comedy Arts Festival. Opening the show is two-person improv team Sherpa, made up of Middlebury graduates Ben Orbison and Adam Benay.

One of last year’s most popular shows. Seven Days newspaper’s “missed connection” classifieds (called “iSpy” ads) are frequently funny or unusual. We ask audience members to pull them from a hat, and then sharp-witted performers from Upright Citizen’s Brigade, ImprovBoston, and Spark Improv Troupe use them to build complex, fast paced and hilarious scenes on the spot. This one will have you laughing hard!
